Austin ~ in foster's Story
Austin is a border collie mix brought in as a stray and not claimed. He has the softest coat around. He is currently being fostered for us and this is what his foster had to say: He has had no accidents in the house, he loves snow and the outdoors, he is a big snuggler/ couch potato, he is interested in cats but is respectful of boundaries, he is a good listener and aims to please, he loves to play with other dogs and loves toys. He knows sit, lie down, crate and kisses and when told to "get out of the kitchen" he knows that that means. He is crate-trained, gentle with kids, and is excited about everything. She said that he is a kitchen counter thief and will counter surf, so be aware, and he is a little stubborn. <br/>When he was at the shelter, we found that he loves the water and loves to splash around in our baby pool. He would make a great lake or boat dog for certain. He is so smart and would make a great addition to any family.
