Meet Austin!

This happy boy arrived to NW Indiana from Texas.
He is in Michigan City, IN as we learn more about him we will post more.

We can tell from first meeting he is a happy, playful and energetic boy.

Basics: He is about 50lbs, about 1 yr old, neutered male, up to date on vaccines, rabies

Adoption Process:

- one of our team members will get back to you.

- our dogs can be seen by appointment only after an approved application has been received.

- Adoption fee helps to cover spay/neuter, initial vaccines, rabies, initial worming, and microchip.

-We cannot place holds on our dogs. Please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.

NOTE: We are very good about updating the pet's profiles once adopted. So no need to write us to ask "Is he/she still available?" If the post is up, the dog is still available.

About Us:
Day of the Dogs is a 501c3 nonprofit that is dedicated to helping shelters increase live release. We coordinate 2 - 4 transports per month from TX, OK and AR to NW Indiana/Chicagoland area. We do direct adoptions ourselves out of Dyer, IN area and partner with 12 other rescues and shelters in both IL and IN that are willing to help southern pets in need.
