Aurora White German Shepherd & Chow Chow Mix Austin, TX

Meet Aurora, our brave little white wolf.

Aurora was left to fend for herself in a grassy, wooded area, and a kind human watched over her and fed her from a distance. We finally were able to find a foster for beautiful Aurora, and she is now safe, warm and THRIVING.

In her foster home, her personality started to immediately come out.
Aurora, affectionately known now as Rory, needs exercise but walks well on a leash and loves to head out on the town with her foster family. She’s got the basics down and will respond to sit and shake commands. She’s well-mannered, potty trained, and just wants your love and attention. She would thrive in an environment with an enclosed backyard and with someone who wants to go for long walks or runs. Rory is not destructive when left alone!

Her strong sniffers come out initially but once introduced, she tends to be pretty indifferent of cats. She would thrive with a patient family and slow introductions to new dogs and people. She has been selective about making new doggie friends but she’s learning how to trust again. Any potential homes with existing pets will require an introduction prior to adoption.
