Meet Auggie (ADOPTED!)

**AUGGIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED!!** Do you love the look of Dobermans but feel they might be too large for you and Min Pins too small? If so, these little pups might be for you! Pal's Place rescued this adorable group of five curious, social, spirited, and affectionate pups looking for loving homes. These littermates were rescued from an overburdened animal control facility in rural Kentucky and are now in a loving foster home in Chicago, waiting to meet their forever families. They are estimated to be around 3 months old (as of 3/6), weighing 5 to 9 pounds. Given their current size and weight, we anticipate an adult weight of 35-50 pounds, so a great medium-sized pooch! The pound listed them as Doberman mixes; we suspect Minature Pinscher. However, both parents were most likely mixed breeds, so they are probably a combination of many breeds. The litter comprises of four males (Apollo, Arrow, Auggie, and Austin) and one female, Alice. This little gang is an absolute hoot! They are confident, lively pups with a fun-loving, go-getter attitude. They will mature into high-energy, intelligent adult dogs that will thrive in active families.

Puppies are adorable and fun but require a tremendous amount of time, patience, and energy during their first year or so.
Dogs this age and size need potty breaks every 2-3 hours, along with lots and lots of playtime and attention throughout the day. They will do best in homes where someone is home more often than not and with families prepared to take on crate training, housebreaking, and basic obedience training. Please consider if you truly have time for a puppy before applying, and please consult with all family members in the home before applying.

These puppies are neutered/spayed, up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and started on flea and heartworm prevention. Their adoption fee to the rescue is $475. They are being fostered on Chicago's north side and can be seen by appointment after an adoption application has been submitted and approved by the rescue. Unfortunately, we cannot place holds on our dogs for any reason once they are available for adoption. Please be prepared to meet and welcome a new family member into your home within 3 days of applying. For more information or an adoption application, please email palsplace1@hotmail.com or visit http://palsplacerescue.org/adopt/ We do our best to respond to all inquiries within 24-48 hours. If you expect a response from us, please check your spam/junk folders regularly, as our correspondence can sometimes end up in those folders.

• Our Pinscher crew pups are spayed/neutered, up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and started on flea and heartworm prevention. Their adoption fee to the rescue is $475. This fee helps to cover medical expenses needed to prepare dogs for adoption (vaccines, microchips, spay/neuter surgeries, etc.), feeding, transportation, and general care for the dogs. Pal's Place is 100% reliant on donations to care for our rescued dogs
