Meet Audrey JuM

Audrey JuM

Blending in with the wallpaper is a good way to describe me. I have also heard humans use the word aloof, but really, I think other dogs like corgis and weenies look more like a loof of bread than I do. I am a bit cautious at first when meeting new strangers, but there are benefits to this initial shyness too. Fur example, I won’t jump up on your friends or stick my snooter directly in their nether regions, I will wait patiently to be introduced instead of getting all up in their private biz.

I am great around all other doggies, big or small, old or young. In fact, I would really like a furever home that has another dog in it already. The resident dog could teach me the ropes and also we could play with ropes. I am a very good beautiful 3 year old 45 pound black and tan German Shepherd mix.

I don’t bork it up so I won’t keep you awake at night. Plus I have been practicing my leash walking here at rescue camp with the volunteers and I am very good at calm strolls. If you have treats to offer you don’t have to worry about your fingertips getting nips, because I am as gentle as a grasshopper sneeze when I grab a treat from a human hand.

One volunteer said this about me and I quote “Whoever adopts or fosters Audrey is really getting a gem. Once she warms up and knows you she is a calm, friendly, fun girl.” See, a people said that about little ole me.

I came into the rescue fat with puppies, yet super skinny at the same time due to lack of food. All of my puppies have since been adopted and now it is my turn to be single and mingle, with humans though, I am spayed now and not trying to meet any new boyfriends, unless it is puptonic, I mean platonic…you know just friends, not benefits. I can’t wait to meet you, actually I can, but really, we should get on with it.

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - ALL of our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. Each dog comes spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations that are appropriate for their age, microchipped, heartworm tested and on current on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.

ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 FOR LOCAL DOGS AND $250.00 FOR PUPPIES. ( Local is in the state of Texas)! Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for adult dogs and $500.00 for puppies. We transport all over the country!!

All our dogs are socialized and we try to provide you a good understanding of the dog’s personality.
