Miss Audrey came to HAL back in November 2020 after she was transferred from Texas to a different shelter that ended up closing its doors. When she first came in she was extremely shy and we were unable to get close to her for the first couple of weeks due to her being scared and not so sure about people. She never showed a single sign of aggression she just hid or would keep her distance. She has since made huge strides and will now get excited to see people and will approach on her own. She does great with other dogs of all sizes and is a very smart and sweet girl. She would do best in a home that does not have small children and is fairly quiet. With someone who has the patience to work with her and understands that she needs a little extra support and will take time for her to adjust completely. It takes a special kind of heart to take the time to work with a sweet girl like her. The bond that you would form with Audrey would be well worth it in the end. Her adoption fee is $150.00 this includes her spay UTD on her vaccines microchipped free 30 day trial of pet health insurance free vet visit within the first two weeks of adoption and free custom engraved ID tag.
