Meet Audi - fostered in Humboldt NE

Audi is living up to his namesake he is a sports machine! He doesn't race around a track but he is ready for any adventures that come his way. He is a good boy who appreciates spending time with you, doing doggie things at his doggie pace.

Audi is.welladorable. But what breed is he? Who can tell! He has perky ears and a fluffy tail. Is he part shepherd? But he's all white. But wait, he has subtle spots of merle over his body. You can't make it out in a photograph, but they are there. And that beautiful merle colored head. One of his eyes also has a tinge of blue at the edge. Is he part Aussi? As stated above, he is just a good boy.

Audi loves active play with other dogs. He is not crazy hyper but he does want other dogs to engage with him. His present play yard friends are an active border collie, and a large older mixed dog. He gets along great with the border collie, but he annoys the older dog. So having a young companion to play with would make him a very happy boy!

However, when it comes to choosing between playing with other dogs and being cuddled by a human? The human wins every time. He loves to be loved on.

He was found as a stray in southeast Nebraska and no owner came forward nor could be found. He is a beagle not, helping modify the unofficial mission statement of Basset & Beagle Rescue of the Heartland to bassets, beagles, and beyond.

Audi is not crate trained but would probably do fine in a crate. He walks acceptably well on a leash; he doesn't heel. He is house trained, using the doggie door at his foster home. He is neutered, chipped, up to date on his shots, tested heartworm negative, and is on monthly heartworm preventative. He is fostered in southeast Nebraska, in Humboldt, and his foster will travel to meet potential adopters.

If interested in adopting Audi please fill out the application at www.bassetandbeagle.org. His adoption fee is $400.00
