Meet Atlas in AL - Calm, Reserved & Fun-loving!

Atlas is a fun and loving young boy who is ready to join his forever family. Atlas and his brother came to rescue after being found abandoned on a highway. They were picked up by a family. These boys were very thin, but that is all behind them and now they are thriving with their foster family. Atlas loves to play with his brother and doesn’t mind that he is the one who wants to be the leader—Atlas has that calm, reserved personality, happy to take it all in! These boys love people, toys, and just crave any attention they can get. They are learning to walk on a leash and would make a great companion for somebody who loves to take walks and go on adventures. Atlas is respectful of the big dogs and enjoys playing with them. These boys have medium fur, double dews and are going to be big boys when they are fully grown! Atlas will require a home with a secure, 5-foot fenced yard, and would love a canine sister to be his playmate and companion; after all he is a puppy and has so much to learn! Atlas is ready to join your family—are you ready for the best boy ever? Apply today!

Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.
