The Three Musketeers (Athos, Porthos, and Aramis) are lab mixed puppies rescued from the city of San Bernardino, CA. While a volunteer was washing his car, a man stopped by the car wash. The man put the three puppies who seemed to be a month old in a plastic pen outside of his vehicle and a guy working in the wash place started washing the back seat of the man's car. Our volunteer asked the owner of the puppies why he had left the puppies in a small pen. He said that his female dog gave birth to them a month ago and he was on his way to relinquish them to the nearest shelter as he could not take care of them. While on his way, the puppies urinated the back seat of his car and left it dirty. The man got mad and decided to immediately stop by a car wash to save his newly purchased car.

The owner of the three puppies stressed on the fact that he does not want to keep them and what made the matter worse from his point of view is that they urinated his car. Our volunteers mentioned to the man that shelters are open by appointment only. Therefore, they will not allow him to walk-in. The man was upset as he wanted to get rid of the puppies as soon as possible. Thus, our volunteer asked the rescue to take position of the puppies who seemed so malnurished with their rib cages showing under their skin. From day #1 and after the first wellness exam, the puppies followed a deworming protocol along with a nutrition protocol. As they continued to grow and gain weight, the puppies received their shots of vaccines and waited in the rescue enough to the receive complete boosters of their vaccines. At a foster home, the puppies were socialized around kids and other dogs. Finally, the puppies were operated for Neuter and received their rabies shot. (all the basic necessary veterinarian work needed for a healthy puppy was done on the expenses of the rescue). All vaccines are valid for 1 year.

All puppies are sweet, energetic, and super outgoing. They can lay with you on a couch watching TV or go with you on a long walk.

Since they are still puppies, they are easy to train and adapt to your lifestyle.

The adoption process consists of three steps:

2- If approved, a one-to-one meet and greet will be scheduled between the adopter, his family and the puppy to be adopted. You can bring your current dog too. (Make sure to wear a mask and abide by social distancing guidelines).

3- Finalizing adoption paperwork for the puppy, paying adoption fee, and take the puppy home same day.

The puppies will be adopted very soon. We receive hundreds of applications for each dog. Submitting your application earlier will increase your chances of being accepted.
