Meet Athena!
Athena found herself at AWS from Morgan County Animal Control. She had been there for some time with little to no interest. MCAC was getting very full so they were going to have to start making some hard decisions. We pulled Athena to give her a 2nd chance!
She is approximately 1 year old & is believed to be a Dutch Shepherd mix. She currently weighs around 50-55 pounds.
She is a young, active girl. She loves to play & run around the fenced yard. She does well being in a fence, but has a tendency to wander if she is not kept in secure fencing. Keeping her contained will be crucial to insure her safety.
Athena would benefit from some basic training and obedience. It’s obvious this girl is smart and wants nothing more than to make her people happy.
She tested well with other dogs at MCAC, however meet and greets are required to potential canine companions. It is unknown how Athena is with cats or kids.
Athena is fully vaccinated. She will be spayed, & microchipped prior to adoption
