Meet Athena, our 4-year-old, 70-pound bundle of love with a heart as big as her goofy, toothy smile! This sweet black Lab was rescued from the city pound with her puppy, Nugget, and she's been spreading joy ever since. Athena is as outgoing as she is snuggly-whether she's curling up like an oversized lap dog or gently pressing her head into your side, she just wants to be close to her people. Her playful personality and affectionate nature make her the perfect companion for anyone who believes there's no such thing as too much dog love.

All C.A.R.E rescue dogs are vaccinated, heart-worm tested, spayed/neutered, and microchipped! So all you need to provide is the love.
