Hi, I'm Athena! I'm a sweet, young and fun girly who's still learning about the world and figuring out my place in it. I came to the shelter through a cruelty case, so I’ve had a bit of a rough start, but I’m so grateful for the people who’ve helped me heal and find my way to a happier, safer life. I can be a little nervous around new people, but with a handful of snacks and just a smidge of patience, I'll get to know you, and then I’m all about the love and affection! I love cuddling and getting attention from my favorite humans, and I’ll be your loyal companion through it all. I have a history of chronic rhinitis, which means my nose sometimes gets a bit stuffy. I may need some treatment in the future to keep it in check, but don’t worry – it’s something that can be managed. Right now I'm trying to become an ambassador for Kleenex to help pay the bills! Despite that, I’m still full of energy and ready to explore life with my new family.
