Welcome tiny hoomans, My name is Astros and I am an out of this world pupper. The shelter thinks I am a shepherd mix coming in at 1 (light) year. I came to MaxFund because my owner could no longer take care of me.

I am a very playful boy with a lot of energy to burn. Since I am still young I have a hard time knowing when it is time to relax and when it's okay to blast off! I will need an owner who will be willing to work with me through training. I am a fast learner and just need to practice my manners! I do well with some dogs but it all depends on proper interactions. I am a little anxious and do need a future home that will take it slow with me so I can feel safe with them! Once I am comfortable we will be stellar friends!

I love to play and toys are always a good time. I am definitely an adventure pupper who enjoys being outside. I will need to go to a house with a yard as I need some space to explore.
Since I have so much energy I need to go to a home with children 10 years and older.

How our adoption process works:
1. You MUST come into the shelter to meet a dog you are interested in (and meet a few others, while you’re at it!)

Our hours are 10-5 Mon, Wed, Thu Fri / 11-5 Saturday / 12-5 Sunday
We suggest you call ahead to be sure the dog(s) do not have pending applications
2. You will fill out your adoption application, including references, after finding a dog you’d like to adopt
3. The application review and reference checks will take up to 3-5 business days; you will not be able to bring a dog home same-day
We only take 2 applications per dog, before they are unavailable. This is why we suggest you call ahead to check the status of the pup!

We do not adopt out-of-state.
