Meet Astrid

My name is Astrid, I am a shield maiden in the series The Vikings! No... not really - I am just a beautiful dog. I think my foster mom puts it best - "she will make you smile everyday." I seem to be a to be a Tennessee Brindle/Mountain Cur mix; I may even have a little Mastiff in me! I am around 18 months and 65 lbs. I am housebroken, walks well on leash and enjoy my walks! I am great with other dogs and I have met children and really enjoy having them rub my belly. No issue there! I even hang out nicely in the house when left alone - there is no separation anxiety. I am medium energy and I would love a fenced in yard. I have lived outside for most of my young life but I have really enjoyed getting to know the indoor lifestyle. I have learned this new life quickly and love the unlimited access to love and affection. I have a little slit on one of my ears and the end of my tail is a bit crooked but it's all part of my story of which I only knows best!
