Astria is a nearly 6 year old Lab-ish girl, weighing just under 50 pounds, and she’s been brightening our days since she was found as a stray in July of 2022. Always on the move, Astria lives for playtime and zoomies! She especially loves her toys, with Nylabones and Jolly Balls ranking at the top of her favorites list. Whether she’s racing around the yard or showing off her toys, Astria brings a joyful presence to every moment.

She’s a people lover through and through, soaking up attention and offering affection freely. That said, personal space is a concept she hasn’t quite mastered, and she doesn’t always realize her own strength. Because of this, Astria would do best in a home without small children, rather with adults or older teens who can handle her big personality and enthusiastic love. Astria is making steady progress on her manners and is eager to learn with the right guidance. She has shown some protectiveness over her food bowl, so she’ll need a family that can respect her space during mealtimes and continue working on positive routines and training.

While she thrives on human companionship, Astria would prefer to be the only animal in the home - she wants all the love for herself! She’s best suited to an active household that can provide daily walks, jogs, or a securely fenced yard where she can run, explore, and burn off energy.
