Astra Shih Tzu Houston, TX

Astra is a sweet and loving Shih Tzu that was rescued from the Palm Valley Animal Shelter because of a fractured spine. She was on a tight deadline when we rescued her from euthanasia. Astra is about 4 years old and weighs 14 pounds. She is a special needs pup and her adoption fee is waived to the right home. She will need to be 'expressed' to help her go potty.

Astra is sweet, friendly, is able to get around by dragging her upper body and loves to play with her toys and other small dogs. Due to her injury no big dogs or kids under 14 please. We spent over $10,000 getting her surgery and healthy!!

Astra's adoption fee is WAIVED TO THE RIGHT HOME.

ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.

Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.

Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.
