Meet Aspen! Aspen originally came to us on a ground transport from Laredo TX where she desperately needed to get out of their overcrowded shelter. We are unsure how she found herself in the shelter system in Laredo, TX but we know she is very happy to be here with us! Aspen came to us after testing positive for heartworms in TX! She has been through her treatment and is now happily heartworm free! She is in a foster home with other dogs and cats and does really well with everyone. Her favorite activities are eating and snuggling. When she comes into a new home she will need to work on learning what the potty program is and needs just a little bit of patience until she learns the new ropes! She LOVES people of all ages. Aspen wants to be your new best friend and will reward you with so much sweetness! Just wait till you see her old lady zoomies come out!sweetness! To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.
