Meet Aspen

Introducing Aspen! She is a gorgeous 2 year old female husky that is looking for her forever home. Aspen needs an adopter that is experienced with dogs, preferably huskies. She is a young girl that has a lot of energy and will need training - for this reason, she would do best in a home without small children. Aspen is people friendly but not always fond of other dogs and should be the only dog in a home. With attention and dedication to her training, we are confident that Aspen will develop into a wonderful pet.

The NAWS Dog Adoption Program operates as a rescue versus a shelter. We believe in matching the right dog with the appropriate family based on each specific dog or family's needs. To achieve this, we believe in spending the appropriate amount of time with each family to allow for enough interaction time with potential adopters. This cannot be achieved if people stop by unexpectedly to meet our dogs.
