Meet Aspen
Aspen came to The Animal Care Society from a rural high kill shelter. She arrived with her nine beautiful puppies as well. Now that her babies are weaned, it's time for Aspen to find her forever home. Aspen is a large shepherd mix of some kind, possibly part husky as well. She is very sweet and desperately craves human attention. She will do anything for a good belly rub. While Aspen loves attention, you could definitely consider her to have a needy personality. She has some anxiety when left alone, so she needs someone who is ready to work with her on confidence building. New things tend to make her nervous, so whoever adopts her needs to be ready to put the effort in to make her the best dog she can be.
