PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO ON THIS DOG BEFORE REQUESTING AN APPLICATION. MANY OF OUR DOGS HAVE STRICT REQUIREMENTS FOR THEIR ADOPTION.

1. He needs a large, fenced yard.
2. He would do well with another dog his size to play with.

1 year old male medium fluffy dog mix, about 40 pounds.

Aslan is a big, gentle giant of a puppy. We are not sure what mix Aslan is but we think he’s definitely part fluffy dog mixed with possibly Chow/Golden/Saint Bernard/Setter???? Who knows! He has beautiful eyes!

Aslan still has a lot of puppy energy and curiosity. He loves to play with the other dogs and he loves running around the backyard. He’s still learning not to jump up on people but is getting better. He loves to cuddle and give hugs but he doesn’t always know how big he is.

He would do well in an active home, with people who like to go for long walks or runs and take their dogs camping and hiking. He shows interest in toys and is learning how to play fetch. He should be with other medium or large dogs in the home who can teach him dog things. He will require a large, well fenced yard and a lot of activity.

He’s generally a very quiet dog, not barky or noisy at all. He likes to sleep in his crate in the bedroom next to his people.

Aslan is smart and would do well with obedience training. He quickly learned how to come when called, go in and out of the dog door, he’s still learning to “wait” when other dogs are being fed but will “sit” and wait for his food dish. He can be a bit protective of his food bowl if he is in his crate.

All dogs are fostered throughout the Puget Sound area and are brought to the events where they can be met by prospective adopters. If your home seems like a great fit for the dog you would like to adopt, you must then drive to meet the dog at one of our weekend events or at the fosters home.
