HI,.. I am Ashton. I am a 1 year old Yorkie/Cairn Terrier mix and weigh 13 lbs.
I had a rough start and somehow I ended up in the street and the dog catcher got me and brought me in a very crowded place. Since It was very scary and I didn't want to have anything to do with anyone there, so they thought I was not a nice guy. But Paws and Stars Animal Rescue gave me a chance and let me settle in for a few days until I was comfortable and then I learned how to give kisses and snuggle.
I am crate trained and almost house broken. I get along with other dogs, I think I like cats, just fine. Since I became familiar with my foster home i really blossomed and I would love an active family. Either someone young who will be out and about with me would be great, I love walks, dog parks or maybe a family where the kids will play with me or have another dog. I am all about action and play.

I am funny and bouncy once I know you and I do like treats :-)

I AM HEARTWORM positive but having treatment which is taken care of all by our rescue organization. So nothing to worry about! But due to my treatment I am only able to be adopted out in Ga as I will have to return back one more time to the rescue organization for check up. Since I am young and active my organization decided to to the moxidectine heartworm treatment which is very easy on my body and I don't have to be kept calm at all. It is a simple topical application once a month which is also flea preventative in the same time. Very easy breezy ,,, lets play!!!!!
