Meet Asher!

Asher is a 9 week old French Bulldog puppy with a bilateral cleft lip and cleft palate. He was tube fed for the first month of his life and is now able to eat kibble and drink water on his own.

Asher is a SPECIAL NEEDS French Bulldog who will need a very special home with someone who will be committed to his care. He will not require any further surgery but will always need to have someone check on his cleft daily to ensure there is nothing stuck.

Asher is a happy puppy who loves to play with his furry foster siblings and loves to run around the yard. He definitely has the Frenchie sass and will need a fenced in yard as he loves exploring.

Asher loves children but will need a family with children over the age of 13 as any little toy is a choking hazard to a cleft puppy.

Asher will also need someone who is home with him during the day and another fur sibling to play with.

Please consider committing to a special needs puppy before applying as they will be special needs for life!

Asher is spunky and playful and loves to be outside and on the run. He loves everyone he meets and is expected to be a normal French Bulldog size fully grown.

We are in Rochester, NY. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
