Artemis Shepherd & Mountain Cur Mix Carrollton, GA

Artemis is an almost 2 year old Shepherd/Cur mix who came to us with her 'sister', Apolla! Artemis is the more affectionate and loving of the two. She is a bit more docile than her sister, but still has plenty of energy and spunk! Artemis listens and follows direction very well; training should be very easy with this sweetheart! Artemis has a high prey drive and we do not recommend her to a family that has small animals. Artemis seems to love children and gives very gentle kisses! Artemis and Apolla love being together, but we know that two large dogs is a lot to ask for, so we are not requiring that they go home together. Artemis will need a loving home with a big yard or an owner who is very active!
The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip.

The hours of operation are: Monday through Wednesday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Thursday 12:30 pm till 6:00 pm; Friday 12:30 pm till 4:30 pm; Saturday 9:00 am till 4:00 pm. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
