Meet Aristotle

Aristotle has found his forever home in North Easton, MAwith David T.

Aristotle is a 4 year old, Australian Shepherd mix. He weighs 65 pounds,
Check out those freckles!! Aristotle found his way into rescue because his owner had more dogs than she could take care of. He is an active dog, who is learning to walk on a leash and loving it! He loves to be petted. He can be a bit standoffish until he gets to know you. Aristotle's foster says he is a loyal boy. He gets along great with other dogs, but does not like cats. For the most part, he has been living outside with many other dogs. He does well inside the house when the foster brings him in. He has been in a crate and not had any accidents when inside the house.

As a breed, Aussies are intelligent, high energy dogs with a strong herding instinct. They are usually good candidates for dog sports (agility). They need lots of exercise.
Aristotle would do best with a family that has time to train and play with him, give him lots of love, attention and exercise. A fenced yard is a big plus. He would not do well in an apartment. Aristotle has not been around children, so a home with teens and older would be best

Aristotle is in a foster home in the South, so not available to meet in person at this time. If you are interested in adopting Aristotle, please submit an on-line adoption application.
