Aries is a dominant female. Although she does not go directly after other dogs, she is working on her social skills. She does not like to share her time or her things with others. She does not resource guard but she wants what she wants when she wants it and will push to get it. This is why she should initially be placed in a home as the only pet. Once her family works with her and Aries settles in, then maybe another animal can be added to the mix. Aries is not dog aggressive. She is dominant. There is s difference. Dominance means she is headstrong and willful and requires a small social circle. She likes people but is VERY energetic and excitable. Aries needs somebody that is energetic and will be active with her.

Aries was born in April 2021 and found herself in a rural shelter. She is an energetic girl who will thrive in a home in the country where she can romp and play with a canine friend. She likes to wrestle and needs a sibling that also enjoys that style of play. Aries would make an amazing running partner! Stuffed toys don't last very long, however she is happy with Benebones. She will allow you to trim her toenails and her foster parents are working on getting her used to the nail grinder. Aries is allowed on the furniture in her foster home and would love to be part of a family that would allow her that luxury. She is crate trained, fully housebroken and is not destructive at all in the house. Aries is a homebody, loves to snuggle and loves car rides too! Please give this sweet girl a chance to have her very own human to love forever!
