Ariel is a fun-loving 1-year-old Lab/Terrier mix with a calm demeanor. She'd like to introduce herself to you!
"Hi, it’s nice to meet you. I am having so much fun since coming to New Jersey. I’m even getting used to the cold weather. I hear the humans talk about this thing called snow. I can’t wait to see this. Manners have been a top priority and boy, am I learning a lot.
Sitting is very important in my foster home and I am doing really well, having mastered sitting for meals, sitting for treats, and sitting to go outside. Just got the “paw” thing down also. Yay! And I just figured out that if I let my fosters dry my paws after being outside, I’ll get a treat. I am well-behaved and don’t really need a crate when left alone or at night. Four-legged neighbors are plentiful here and they have welcomed me with open paws. They are my new best friends.
But enough about me, let me tell you about my foster family. You see, as much as I love my four-legged friends, I am shy and I need a little more time to feel safe around humans.
My foster family saw this and let me have my quiet space until I felt comfortable being with them. Now I am by their side 24/7!! Following them everywhere and I just love to snuggle and give them kisses. This is a very fun foster house, but I am so looking forward to meeting my forever home very soon.
