Meet Ariel, perhaps the world's happiest house hippo! This girl is exceptionally good natured, sweet, and always smiling. She loves everyone - other dogs and people of all ages. We think she is about 4 years old. At 50 lbs, she is very gentle and mellow. She is loving and loyal. Truly a gem!
Her foster in MS had her around her small grandchildren and other dogs; everyone fell immediately head over heels for this good girl and the same happened when she arrived at Lucky Dog. She instantly wins over everyone's hearts.
We found Ariel as a stray in MS along with her 3 young pups. Her puppies have been adopted and now it is her turn to find her fairy tail family.
She is being treated for Heartworm (easy to treat, fully curable, and non-contagious) but that shouldn't stop her from moving in with her forever family. She is otherwise up to date medically.
