Everyone welcome Aria!! Aria is a 9-year-old female Chihuahua mix that was rescued from drainage pipes in known dumping grounds in Bakersfield. She was starving, malnourished and needing medical attention. Aria is very shy and can be fearful in new situations, so a quiet home would be perfect for her. She is learning to be more comfortable with being held by people and sitting in laps. She does great in the car, walks well on leash in a calm environment (loud noises and traffic are scary to her) and loves to sit in the sun. Her tail never stops wagging and she will always rolls on her back for belly rubs. Aria is very submissive to other dogs and is very treat motivated. While we do not think it is essential for her to have another dog in the home, we feel that she would be a good friend to one We are recommending a home without children due to her being so shy. She is a candidate for our Senior for Senior Program, so if you are a senior looking for a friend, her adoption fee is sponsored. All other adoption rules apply. Aria has been spayed, received a dental, is up to date on her vaccinations, blood work and is microchipped. If interested in meeting or adopting Aria, please go to www.LOLR.org and fill out an adoption application.
