Meet Ari, an 2-year-old Shih Tzu/Spaniel mix male that came into rescue. He was surrendered because he needed re-introduction to manners and that little dogs cannot be the boss of the household. We would like someone with great pack leader skills to help him get back to normal. Because of nipping behavior, we are recommending adults (mostlyl male) that will definitely be the alpha of his pack. He loves to romp with other small young dogs where he is fostering and has lots of energy, but can also lounge around the house. Otherwise, he's a pretty independent guy, loves to walk around the foster's yard and appears to be totally house-trained. We believe that the best fit for Ari would be adults with pack leader skills, not being left alone for long days, and continuing the perservance to guide him back to the right path that has started with his PAN foster mom. Ari is up-to-date on all shots and is already neutered and micro-chipped. A fully fenced yard is required for any potential adopter. His adoption fee is $250. Please email to make arrangements to meet Ari in person. He's a gem in the rough just waiting to be molded to perfection!
