Meet Ares
Ares is a sweet and smart dog with lots of energy and lots of love to give to his people.
He hasn’t had too much socialization with other dogs, and can be skiddish/anxious at times and wary of new environments and people. However, once he gets settled, he loves belly rubs, walks, and to show off his tricks for treats. Ares is fully potty trained. He is currently on two medications in order to fend off epileptic seizures. Ares would be best in a home without other dogs, as seizures often cause other dogs to attack the seizure dog or treat them differently. Ares would do best in a home without children and preferably with a yard he can roam. It would be best for him to join a family who perhaps has experience with epileptic dogs, has a veterinary background, or would have lots of time to spend making sure Ares gets lots of attention and exercise.
It is very important NOT to try to kennel Ares. He is frightened by being locked in crates. But as I said, he is extremely well potty trained and has never been destructive of household items, so there is really no need to kennel him anyway
