Archie Black and Tan Coonhound Mix Portland, OR

Archie is pretty hard to guess his breed but here goes! We guess Archie is a Black & Tan Coonhound/Lab mix. He is a calm and sweet boy who makes friends where ever he goes. He is estimated to be around 2 yrs. old and weighs 70 lbs. He is medium/low energy, mostly low but he has a little goofy that comes out as bouncy. He is fostered in the Portland, Or area.

From his foster mom: Archie is just the sweetest guy. Everyone who meets this boy loves him. He is a playful guy who plays with the playful dogs around our home. He is always up for love. He has been respectful with our old dogs and runs a bit with the athletic dogs. He is a tall boy.

Archie:
• is crate trained
• does well on leash
• does well with other dogs
• loves all people
• is crated when is foster family leaves home and at night
• is love motivated
• is quiet
• children over 8 only (due to his size and lack of past history)
• is a love!

Archie’s perfect home would be someone who is around home most of the time. He is does fine in a crate when you need to leave but he would appreciate a person who is not gone for long periods. He is a young dog and would benefit continued training. He loves a secure backyard that he can sniff around and a playful dog to hangout with. He can spend hours in a soft dog bed with a Nyla bone.

He has not been cat tested nor has he been around young children. We will only be placing our dogs that have not been tested with kids over 8 years old.

Archie is up to date on his vaccines had flea treatment, had de-wormer, had his heartworm test and he is microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.
