Archie Cattle Dog Mix Normal, IL

This beautiful, shy little lady is Archie - she's a 1 year old Cattle Dog mix who weighs in at 36 pounds. Archie is very gentle and sweet, but she's also extremely submissive and fearful. She may urinate submissively at times. There is no medical reason for this, but it should improve with socialization. Agility classes could be a great way to help Archie build the confidence she needs and help her gain better social skills - plus it's a really fun bonding activity!

We believe that Archie will do okay in a household with kids over the age of 7 years old, but they will need to understand that they need to go slowly with her until they gain her trust. She needs to go to a home without any shared walls (no apartments/condos) because she has a tendency to bark when alone.

She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
