Archie Rottweiler Patterson, NY

This sweet pup came to us from a hoarding cruelty case in which 53 dogs were seized. Archie is approximately 10 months old and as cute as can be. His background prior to rescue was limited to living in filthy conditions with the hoarder with no socialization outside of the house. This means he will need a calm environment with a patient family who will not expect him to act like a typically socialized pup. He has made wonderful progress and now enjoys treats, affection, and attention from us. We only asked him for what he was ready to give us, but he's a pleaser and so was responsive to our quiet overtures. Archie is actually a type of Rottie named a Furnished Wire Hair Rottweiler which is not common. He was the only one in his litter who has this characteristic. If you can give this pup gentle, patient, structured care, we think you'll be well rewarded by him!
