You must be 25 yrs of age or older to adopt through us. We are in the Rochester NY area and adopt dogs out to area residents.

Sweetie is an 8 yr old poodle who weighs in around 10 lbs now. She joined us from a local shelter as she was not doing well in that environment and was getting nippy with staff. She was turned in as a stray, badly matted and had some mammary tumors. She was spayed and the tumors removed. We had them biopsied and 2 tumors ( all completely removed) did prove to be malignant. Adopter will have to ensure if more develop they are examined and removed.
She was nicknamed Sweetie as she is the sweetest girl once she knows you. Prefers women to men and loves to lay on your lap and give kisses. She also loves walks on her leash and has a true poodle prance to her walk.
She does well with other dogs, large or small and is fine with cats. We have no idea how she is with children but due to age and history recommend home with older children only.

All our dogs have been spayed/neutered; treated for worms; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchip; and examined by veterinarian and given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed.
