April

April is believed to be between nine and twelve months old Maltese mix puppy.  April was surrendered because she needed major surgery to remove a small foam ball from her intestines.  Now that April has recovered from surgery, she is ready for a new home and family who will give her the love and attention she deserves.  

April is a very active,  energetic and playful girl.   She needs a person or family that can meet her energy level.  April needs a house of her own as she is much too noisy for apartment living.

April has a sweet and gentle disposition.  She enjoys a good cuddle.  She loves chasing her favorite toys.   Bringing it back is still a work in progress.  

April is house-trained.  She is also crate trained and will sleep there if you want.  She does prefer sleeping with her person.  April has a good appetite and loves treats.

April is spayed and current on all her vaccinations.  She is microchipped.  April has tested heartworm negative and is on a preventative.  

April can honestly be described as best dog ever.  Anyone will be lucky to add her to their family.   April gets along with other dogs.  Her opinion on children and cats is not known.

We do not have a facility, all dogs are fostered in the homes of our volunteers.
