Meet April
Hi, my name is April! I was born around 3/21/2020 and am a Heeler mix that came up from Texas. I weigh around 31 pounds. I am a very shy dog. I've met a few families but was walked away from because I show little interest in anything. I'll need time to come out of my shell as I do not walk on a leash or seek attention from people. I do seem to enjoy other dogs so would probably do the best with a confident dog already in the home whose lead I can follow. Obedience classes for adult dogs and puppies can be incredibly helpful for both animals and humans. It helps you understand what makes me tick and will give me a better idea of what you want me to do. It’s a win/win and it will also strengthen the bond between us! Apply for me today!
My adoption fee is $350.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP. Our license is #268235-DS
