Meet April
APRIL
1 year old, female, Husky mix
April is an active outgoing girl. She would do best in a detached home with a back yard. She loves to go for walks and is working on her leash manners but will attempt to chase squirrels and bunnies as they pass. April is vocal when seeking attention but quiets down quickly. April would not be good in a home with cats but would excel in a home with another dog. April is very gentle and would be good with children as long as they are not rough. April is unable to be crated at this time so her ideal family would be home often and patient with training to be home alone. April is very food motivated and is a quick learner.
April has been vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested, spayed and treated with Advantage Multi. She came to us from IFAWs Northern Dogs Project.
The adoption fee is $400 and includes spay/neuter (dogs over 6 months), vaccines, heartworm test (dogs over 6 months), deworming, Flea and tick prevention and microchip. Please visit www.paws-united.com to fill out an application.
**For puppies under 6 months a $100 spay/neuter rebate will be given with proof of spay/neuter certificate signed by a vet, if they have not been done prior to adoption.**
**Please note we DO NOT adopt our dogs as outdoor/farm dogs. These dogs are coming to us as stray, roaming or dogs that have lived a life tied to a chain. Our goal is to bring them in the house off the chain and give them a pampered indoor dogs lifestyle. Unless otherwise stated we will not even consider a home that has intentions of leaving our dogs outdoors or tied to a chain**
