Meet Apricot - NOT AVAILABLE - PLEASE READ THE BIO
NOT READY FOR ADOPTION
Apricot is a 6 year old female Maltese puppy mill survivor. She has come a long way since coming into rescue, but she will need to go to a home that is patient with her. It takes her awhile to relax around people and she still runs away or will freeze when you approach her. However, once she is in your lap, she will relax after a few minutes and does appear to enjoy being pet and brushed. Housebreaking is a work in progress and she would do best in a home with a fenced in yard. She does like other dogs and really likes treats, dinnertime, and being outside when the weather is nice. She still needs a spay and dental, but will be available after those procedures. She will do best in a quiet, low traffic home that has other little dogs.
