Meet Apollo
Apollo is an adorable 4-5 month old Pyr/Lab mix boy who is looking for a forever home. Thanks to an amazing foster family, he’s healthy and thriving now, after he and his two brothers were found as babies with their Great Pyr momma under a cottage. The boys have been in foster for several months and are ready to find their forever homes.
Apollo’s foster mother says he’s a terrific boy who loves everyone he’s met, plays well with other dogs, and like his brothers, he has the easy-going personality of the Great Pyr and the silliness of a Lab. She says he’s been easy to train and since he doesn’t seem too interested in squirrels or birds, we think he’d be fine with cats if properly introduced. Apollo’s foster mom has already taught him the sit, off, down & no commands and is working with him on leash training.
Apollo is crate trained and is getting a great head start with house training. He weighs about 30 pounds. He is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all of his vaccines and preventives. If you’d like to give cute, lovable Apollo a forever home, please email

PUPPIES GROW into the expectations of their families through love, care and consistent training. This, more than anything, defines their personalities. Puppies cannot be left unattended for more than 3 to 4 hours a day. Young puppies can only go to homes with small children where the family is "puppy savvy". and has boundaries for both the puppy and the child.
PLEASE REMEMBER: The specific breed of any dog abandoned to a shelter or rescue is only the best informed determination of rescue in agreement with our veterinarians.
CURRENTLY not available for MA. Quarantine
