Ready to share her story, say hello to Anthem! ♥

Sometimes you have to wonder about the crazy ride that life takes you on. I was a surrender with 7 of my siblings when my owner could not find homes for us. I was adopted pretty quickly, just to be returned a few weeks later. My adopters ended up having a change in their work schedules and were not able to give me the time and attention I needed.

So, I am back up for adoption again. I know they made the best choice for me and were sad to see me go. However, it still sucks. Now I have to start the search for my forever family again. And I just hope that whoever they are will keep me forever and ever.

My name is Anthem and I am a 15 week old female Great Pyrenees mix. I currently weigh about 30lbs, and will probably top out somewhere in the 70-80lb range. I have a lovely white coat, with some gold starting to show on the top of my head and ears.

I may be too cute for words, but please know that I am a lot of work. Don't get me just because I am cute. Make sure you are ready to commit to me forever and ever! To help you with your decision, I have compiled a list of questions I think you may have about me.

-How can someone adopt me?
The first step is to fill out an adoption app for me at https://www.pyrpawsandfluffytailsrescue.com/adoption-app
Once this app comes in, it will get sent on to my foster family and they will help me decide if we are a match or not.

-Where are you being fostered, would I pick you up? Can I adopt you even if I don't live in Oklahoma?
I am being fostered in Skiatook, OK. Yes, you would need to pick me up. This rescue does not send us on transports. It is less stress on us that way. Plus, you and I can already start bonding on the road trip home! ? Yes, I am okay moving to a new state.

-What is your personality like?
It is a good mix of playful and sweet.

-Are you good with everything?
I am being fostered around other dogs, cats, and kids. I do wonderful with all of them!

-Are you potty and kennel trained?
I have not had any potty accidents in my foster home and am kennel trained.

-Is there anything else to know about you?
I don't think I have anything else to share except that I LOVE being around my people!

-Can I hear what your foster has to say about you?
"Anthem is an absolute darling of a girl. She puts the gentle in the Pyrenees reputation of being gentle giants. She can be around kids, cats, and other dogs with no problem. She loves being around her family most of all though. She sleeps in a crate at night and when her family wakes up in the morning she is all wiggles with happiness to see them. She is not a big barker so far but she does have the Pyrenees selective hearing, lol. When the nose is turned on, the ears turn off. Anthem was in an amazing foster home as a small puppy and the first family that adopted her was very good to her. She is well adjusted and one of the happiest pups I have been around. It’s been an absolute pleasure to foster her ??"

~ I would love to be with a family where someone is home most of the time. One with kids that I can love on and play with, would be awesome as well. I ride really well in the car and am making great progress on the leash so any family outings that I can be a part of would be good with me ?~

*My adoption fee is $275. That includes two sets of puppy shots and wormings. I will also have had a bordetella. I will be micro-chipped, have a fecal done, be de-wormed, be spayed/neutered, and will be current on heart-worm and flea/tick prevention.
