Meet Anoemy

Anoemy was saved from a high kill shelter in Texas .

Anoemy was clearly afraid and showed severe her teeth to the vet staff in Texas . Every day she became more aggressive when vet staff wanted to take her out of the kennel .

When we have dogs that are a high risk for the public we have no other choice then to put them down but my instinct said there is more going on .
I called the owner of our boarding place in Texas to do some test after one of the girls was bitten in her leg . The tests were negative but Anoemy has now a bite record and the staff became afraid of her .

Before everybody becomes a keyboard warrior . Dogs who are coming from the kill shelters are on a transport of 4 hours long . They come in a hospital environment with strange noises and smells and easily become aggressive. On top of that most of our dogs are highly abused . The fear is real and a bite is not far off . This is one of the reasons why we have often months dogs in our kennels to let them decompress and will NEVER adopt straight from transport .

Unfortunately our boarding place was full and time was ticking . Anoemy could not stay at our vet and became a high risk for the staff . Luckily a befriended rescue give me the name of another boarding place who was specialized in aggressive dogs .

It was love on first sight. Anoemy went in Austin te but after that she was swimming in the owner his swimming pool. Anoemy was relaxed and sweet . The whole placed adored her and had tears when she was leaving For NY .

She went In boarding at our vet in Huntington and a little bit later she started to limp . X -rays were taken and Anoemy needed a TPLO surgery and a FHO after they saw that she had hip dysplasia and a torn cruciate .

Anoemy became a gorgeous full fur dog again after intens rehab for months and is doing great.

As a rescue we have to tell you that she has a bite record at the vet in Texas . At our vet in NY she gave no problems and was a total sweetheart .

She is 4.5 years old and needs to be pet only .

She is active but extreme hiking is not allowed .

Anoemy is an alpha dog and would be better placed by experienced shepherd owners . Adult only homes .

She is located in Middle Island NY

We would love to see this sweet lady who overcome her abuse in a loving home before the holidays.

To become her new family please fill in the adoption link to find on our website ww.a-teameliterescuedogs.com or email us and we send you one
