So this little girl Annie Belle is a sweetheart who had a sad upbringing. We have no idea of what happened to her in her past to make her so unsure, but she is a total sweetheart once she feels safe. She is frightened of strangers and can be protective. If you are an adult living alone a protective dog can be a good thing! She needs someone willing to give her a chance and not be put off by her barking when they first meet her. She will calm right down when her foster mom picks her up but trembles at visitors at first. If she feels threatened, she may try to nip at your heels.

Annie Belle is the most loving dog to all in her foster family! She just needs a family willing to give her a few days to earn her trust. Then she will bond to you and be the most loving dog.

We are taking her for walks twice a day and she’s getting better and better. She loves to take quiet walks. She gets along with other dogs and children she is familiar with. She is 1/2 chihuahua and 1/2 terrier, and 100 % dolly baby when not frightened.

We are hoping someone will give her a chance with a trial adoption. We feel pretty confident that after an adjustment period that she will bond to a new family. Her sweet loving nature is worth a few days of adjustment!

Annie Belle is about 4 years old, is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.
