Hi, my name is Annie! I'm a 2 year old Aussie mix. I am a young, active, playful herding breed. I’m looking for a family with a fenced in yard and who has owned dogs like me before so they can help me with my need to exercise. Not only physical exercise but mental stimulation as well. I’m really smart and if someone doesn’t give me a job to do, I make my own! Like rearranging rugs, unstuffing my toys and I can even take your clothes off the line. ? Do you have a cat? I don’t want to hurt the cat, I just think it’s great to chase them when they run, so your cat may not like me. I’m a real party animal and love to be right where my people are! I’m sweet and snuggly after a good run! I know some basic commands and I walk well on a leash, but I do need some work on not jumping up, so maybe not a great fit for young kids because I may accidentally knock them over. I love car rides, walks and have even learned to run next to a bike! I'm a little picky about the dogs I will wrestle with and I need to work on my dog skills but I am improving with each interaction. Adopter must live within 75 miles of Racine, WI. Adoption fee is $300 plus a $100 deposit for mandatory training class. Fee includes neuter/spay at our approved vet clinic, microchip, age-appropriate vaccines and 30 day health certificate.
