Meet Annie

Annie, also known here as Wheezy, is a silly, sporty little dynamo oozing with character who would love to find someone who can keep both her body and her mind active. Just 6 months old, this bully breed blend is a pint-sized wiggly little package and ready to take on the world. She’s a friend to all humans and is always up for an adventure. For a quick clip of some Waggly Wheezy Cuteness, visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gDIJKSNtDAk&feature=youtu.be

And check her out at her debut at the town park playground. Looks like someone loves kids! :)

She has begun her manners education in
recent days and is just beginning to get the hang of sitting. She’s a
whiz trotting alongside a bike and is starting to show interest in
toys. Wheezy has also been introduced to a couple other dogs at the shelter and she enjoys playing with a well-matched canine companion.
Check her out playing with Tater Tot, who is also available for adoption:

We think she’ll be happiest with someone who can give her a pretty big
dose of vigorous exercise daily and who has past experience teaching a
dog basic skills and beyond - and we’re guessing she’d be pretty happy
to have a doggy playmate, too.

Adopters will be considered on the totality of the application and how it matches the particular pet's needs.

Most dogs who come from the shelter will not be house trained.

We do not know or make guarantees that a dog or cat will do well with all children, other animals or is house-trained.

We will need to talk to all of the adults in the home prior to making an appointment to visit with a pet.

In most cases its necessary to to have family dogs come into meet your potential adoptee. Please be sure your dogs are spayed or neutered and current on vaccines (distemper - parvo and rabies) before bringing them for a meeting.

All dogs must be transported home in a travel crate to transport your new pup home safely.

Renters must provide a copy of a lease indicating pets are allowed or contact information for the landlord.
Please read entire posting for information on our new procedures. We are currently requiring appointments for all adoptions.
