Anna 's Story

Hi! My name is Anna. I am a female 6-year-old Boston Terrier. I am spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested and current on my vaccines.

3 words that describe me: Shy, Friendly, Gentle

Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: Before coming to CRHS I was living as an Amish breeding dog. As a result I don't really know much about being a dog and I can be very anxious with new people. My ideal home would be a calm environment with an owner that is willing to work with me and take things at my pace. Once I get to know you I am very sweet. Also I LOVE spray cheese!

Activity level/Energy Level (1-10): 5/10

Housetraining Status: I will need to work on my housetraining.

I should do well in a home: Due to my shy demeanor any children in my potential home will need to be 13 years or older. I should do well in a home with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats.

My favorite activities are: One of my favorite things to do is just kick back and relax in the shade—it's the perfect spot for a calm, peaceful nap.

Things I need work on are: Since I was an Amish breeding dog, I don't know a whole lot about being a dog. I will need to work on my leash walking, housetraining, basic commands, and general socialization.

Any special needs: None

Doggy day out notes: None yet

Daycare Status: N/A

My adoption fee is: $300

Training Requirement if applicable: N/A

*If you are interested in adopting, please start by filling out an application available on our website and email it to us. https://www.couleehumane.com/adopt-an-animal
