Meet Angus

Hi, my name is Angus! I'm estimated to be a Pit Bull mix born around 3/2/2019. I weigh around 63 pounds and came up to Wisconsin from Texas. I was adopted for a month and brought back because I'm naughty. Wish I could say that wasn't true, but I am. I love to eat everything that I possibly can, socks, rocks, wood chips...pretty much anything that I can get in my mouth. I also get excited easily and nip when I do. I'm not mean or aggressive, just naughty and high energy. I can jump from the floor to the table and can climb a fence. If I'm loose, I'm running and forget where home is. So, those are my bad traits. My good traits are that I love people and will enthusiastically greet everyone. I love to play with other dogs as long as they are okay with physical play. I may benefit greatly from having another dog in the home, a friend to romp with and help with my energy. I love to have my belly rubbed and crave attention. Obedience classes will be incredibly helpful for me. It helps you understand what makes me tick and will give me a better idea of what you want me to do. It’s a win/win and it will also strengthen the bond between us! Apply for me today!

My adoption fee is $60.00. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.

CCHS is proud to be a No-Kill Humane Society. As a private, non-profit charity, our work depends on donations and volunteers to keep going. We are committed to helping the animals that enter our doors and finding each the best possible forever home. CCHS has been inspected and licensed by the Department of Animal Health - DATCP.
