Meet Angie

International woman of mystery, Angie arrived to the farm via a private plane from the Caribbean island of St. John! Sadly, her travel was not as glamorous as it might sound as she survived floods, winds, thunder and all of the nastiness associated with TWO horrid hurricanes but Angie is a young lady who is willing to try to turn her frown upside down and now brags about a passport and citizenship in the United States. Angie is a terrier mix who sports a lovely white and fawn coat. She is about 6 months old and 20 lbs and will be about 40-50 lbs when full grown. Angie regrets all of the meals she missed during what she considers an unfortunate weather event and therefore needs to pack on a few lbs. Not to worry, she has been enjoying the regular meals and warm blankets provided by her new accommodations. Angie is ready to move on from her past and into a future filled with love and activity. Angie is an active young lady who needs regular exercise. Having lived as a nomad on an island, Angie does not yet know about suburban life but is eager to learn about fenced in yards, fireplaces and squeaky toys. Did she mention toys? Maybe even enough to warrant a toy box? Angie would fit in well with a family that has other dogs as she is used to being around others and meeting many on her various island journeys and adventures. In fact, Angie thinks a canine friend would be an advantage in learning about life in the US and the customs and ways of subdivision living, brewery tours, greenways and soccer games. Austin Powers, your international woman of mystery is on the continent….yea Baby!

All puppies and dogs at Saving Grace are crate trained, have been spayed/neutered, are up to date on their vaccinations, are on heartworm preventative and have been microchipped. Their adoption fee is $350.00. Each has been carefully screened for disposition and temperament in order to provide your home with a safe companion that will enjoy life as your new family member.

Our Adoption Application and Adoption Contract can be downloaded from our website savinggracenc.org or the Petfinder Homepage. If you are interested in meeting one of our dogs, please e-mail a completed Adoption Application to savinggrace@savinggracenc.org. An Application is required before setting up an appointment to meet with a potential adoptee or a foster home.

Sending an Application does not commit you to an adoption, it simply provides us with background information on potential homes. Please review our Adoption Contract before sending an Application to ensure that you will be able to provide the requirements stated in the contract. The Contract must be signed at the time of adoption.

Saving Grace is a small, non-profit 501-C3 organization operated by volunteers only. Most of our animals come from rural animal control shelters where lack of space and resources limit their time and adoption possibilities. Thank you for choosing Saving Grace! We look forward to helping you find your new companion and family member.
