Angel Miniature Schnauzer Oklahoma City, OK

This precious girl is Angel!

Angel is an approximately 3.5 year old miniature Schnauzer that currently weighs 19 lbs. She is a retired breeder dog.

She gets along great with the dogs she has met (both small & medium sized). She is learning how to play with other dogs & toys. She really likes puppies. She likes treats but still won’t take directly from your hand. We are unsure about cats or children, but due to her shyness, kids +10 would be best.

Angel is an independent soul who likes attention but doesn’t want to be the center of attention. She is very much enjoying her freedom & making great use of the doggy door. Squirrel & bird watching are her favorite outside hobbies. She’ll hang out by the backyard tree quietly waiting & watching.

A secure fenced yard is required. It’s something she’s never had freedom to enjoy before joining the rescue and she absolutely loves spending time outside. She will bark from time to time when outside but she is not an excessive barker like some Schnauzers can be. She needs another dog in the home as it helps her to relax and to teach her how to be a dog.

Angel is crate trained but you should know she’s lived her entire life in some sort of confinement. She’s working on her leash & house training, but will need continued assistance.

She loves having a doggy door, going in & out whenever she wants. In her foster home she currently likes sleeping in a dog bed in the foster’s room. She does like going into a crate to nap during the daytime on a dog bed with the door open.

Angel is spayed, current on vaccinations, HW negative, current on flea, tick & HW preventative and microchipped. She has also had a recent dental. Her adoption fee is $200.
