Angel is in a southern foster home and will be transported north AFTER the adoption is finalized.

Introducing Angel! Angel is about 4yrs old and weighs 55lbs.

Angel came from Memphis Animal Services. She was picked running at large.. Some kids were chasing her and hitting her with sticks when Animal control arrived. They told the ACO on the scene she had been vicious. He leashed her and put her in the truck with ease. She was the best girl and soon became a staff favorite. After a while the stress of the shelter started getting to her and she was put on the 'urgent list. Dogs on the list are at risk of euthanasia. The staff reached out for a rescue to save her. They didn't want to kill her yet she couldn't stay at the shelter long term either. One look at those soulful eyes and we were hooked. The next day we sent our transport coordinator to Memphis to save her. We are so glad we did.

Angel lives up to her name. She is an ambassador for her breed. She's social and outgoing and makes friends easily. She loves people and getting lots of attention. She loves to run and play so a home with a fenced in yard would probably be best. She walks fairly well on a leash. She is strong though and might pull if something catches her attention. Squirrel! Angel loved to do zoomies and chase with her canine buddies. She does best with dogs her size. Angel loves her toys, especially her 'babies' (plushy toys). She loves her bed and lots is soft blankets to curl up with. She's a cuddle bug and doesn't realize how big she is. She thinks she's a lap dog! Angel would do best in a home with children school age and up. She's not been around any young children simply because there are none in her life. If you're looking for a loyal, ride- or- die then Angel is your girl. She is just about perfect!

Angel is up to date on vaccines, tested for heartworms and 5 diseases spread by ticks including Lyme, is spayed, microchipped on Proheart 6 and Bravecto.

Angel's adoption fee is $500.

The adoption fee includes all expenses of transporting her up north. There are no additional expenses. The adoption fee helps cover some of the day to day expenses of caring for her and all of her vetting.
