Meet Angel

This Angel is as sweet as her name suggests! She just wants to love you and be loved. Everyone who meets her can’t help but love her! She is just so happy! She is all about belly rubs and the epitome of a Velcro heeler, it’s actually hard to get pics because she wants to be as close as possible. She’s 2.5 years old purebred blue heeler and the perfect size at just 30 pounds to go anywhere and everywhere! She loves car rides and walks and she prefers belly rubs (her love language) to treats, food or toys when it comes to training. She’s working on doing a better “stay” but knows all of her commands! She’s an Angel (pun intended) in the car, on the leash (no pulling), in her kennel. Perfectly potty and crate trained. She’s always ready for the next adventure as long as she’s spending time with her people! She is a low/medium energy heeler but is really down for whatever you wanna do! She’s GREAT with kids and every person she meets! Here’s the thing though, Angel loves you so much she’d prefer to have you and the fam all to herself when it comes to other furry friends. She is fine seeing them out and about on leash, but would just prefer not to share a home with them. I mean can you blame her? When you have as much love as Angel can give what more do you need?!
*Angel has gotten along ok with some other dogs, she just prefers really mellow/not in her face type of personalities, experienced adopters and training would be required if she is not adopted as an only pup.*

PLEASE READ BELOW:

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting, the first step is to please visit our website to complete an application and read all of our FAQs: https://www.takepawsrescue.org/adopt

**Please do not use the "Introduce Yourself" feature. The information needed to determine if you might be a match for one of our animals can only be found on our application. An inquiry, questions or introduction through Petfinder is NOT an application.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescue's approved vet at 6 months of age. Please see our website for more information.
